Among the couture in this collection, I selected some of these to analysis.


and I have chosen these 6 couture which I think they are similar in some ways.

The above 6 coutures are using the same color scheme which is the monochromatic color scheme. By changing the brightness and saturation to achieve different shades and tints.
The colors of those dresses are high in darkness and most of them are shades colors.





This couture is using the monochromatic color scheme. By using the same hue (red) , the upper part which is the Pantone 191 C as trim and the bottom part using the Pantone 184 C for trim. The colors used are high chroma which gives a shiny and vivid effect.




I was first attracted by the contrast colors of this dress. The red ribbon on the waist line and the green dress formed a contrast. It is the complimentary color scheme as the red and green are opposite on the color wheel. Besides, by using different lightness of green, it becomes more harmony and achieve the principle of resemblance.
